Renting Canoes, Kayaks and Boats in Teton National Park
There are a few options for boat rental in the park. If you want to have the opportunity to venture off on your own and explore, this is the perfect way to do it. Sure, you could take a boating tour, but then you will be limited to seeing only what the tour guide shows you. Taking a kayak or canoe to the far side of Jenny or Jackson lake on your own, is an amazing experience. You will most likely have the area to yourself and get to experience the beauty and surroundings at your own pace. Canoes can fit up to 2 adults + 2 small children and most of the available kayaks for rent will accommodate 2 people.
Some of the larger boat rental options include everything from a small 15′ aluminum boat with a 9.9 horsepower engine, to a large runabout or pontoon. Some of these bigger boats are great if you really wanted to enjoy a day on the water with your family and friends. They are capable of holding up to ten people, so bring the whole crew along on this adventure.
